Darrin started working in the motion picture industry as a Set decorator and later Sign-Writer Local 729. Progressive Images evolved into
Proimages Communications a prop-making and 3D animation boutique. In The 1990’s Darrin become immersed in high-end 3D and motion graphics and began offering advanced design and web services.
Darrin has always maintained an interest in photography and the fine arts and has started release images from his extensive collections of slides, illustrations and digital images. He is also pursuing his roots in traditional oil painting and fine art print making and preparing a collection of serigraph prints and etchings for future shows.
After 30 years Darrin has remained passionate about film making, design and fabrication. Darrin has been developing a number of stop motion animated projects and seeking funds to produce these projects. The world has changed for artists but the traditional arts remain his passion and his designs are moving into complete off grid solutions that offer both form and function.

For years, I’ve dedicated my time to building a decentralized cooperative of websites, with a goal of fostering a vibrant community for artists and small businesses. What happen..Picture Sisyphus, tirelessly pushing a boulder up a hill, facing countless ups and downs.
Amidst the challenges, one thing has held true: my unwavering commitment to the arts, music and creatives. As I pen these words, I stand on the cusp of selling the extensive network of 150 sites. These sites have never dabbled in spam or deceit; instead, they were to provide a platform for artists across all genres to promote and sell their creations, with a remarkable 80% in profits for the artists themselves. A way to face the monopolies that have gained to much power over creatives. I have failed..
The groundwork is done, the foundation laid, but I can’t do it alone.
The collaboration efforts of a dozen like-minded individuals is required. Finding impassioned souls who share the vision and have time these days, seems like an impossible dream. Clearly, together, we can unlock SO MUCH potential, allowing creatives a chance to focus on their craft, film, and groundbreaking inventions. This isn’t just about personal gain; it’s about respecting hard work and building a sustainable ecosystem that generates jobs and income.
The ultimate dream?
Creating a place where artists thrive and monopolies/corporations are forced to take a step back. Understand the weight of untapped ideas and concepts that often remain hidden, like a million artist’s invaluable and unexplored lives. It’s time to breathe life into those ideas, protecting, inspiring, and encouraging all artists through a fair trade approach. I Started out working in the motion picture industry as a Set decorator and Sign-writer Local 729. Worked on many feature films and TV shows, help build many sets and props. Later became involved in 3D animation and video production. My dream was always to tell the many stories I have and be part of the creative decisions for larger films. Telling stories with the art of film and direction was one of my top dreams and goals.
Along that path I dove into motion control camera systems and time lapse motion sequences. I now own a sizeable collection of custom programmable systems for stop motion and repeatable motion.
All of my skills come together in this medium, puppets, miniatures and diaramas. Oh boy!! I’ve embarked on this path for a second attempt at funding a stop motion project. In production of ‘Timmy’s Dream’ a stop motion animated project.

– Parts and modular interior system for Sprinter Vans build outs – prototypes finished
– ALL POWER – A series of power collection systems working in concert – Pitched to the GE echo challenge 3 years ahead of the tesla wall
– Natural air – A passive cooling system for homes in hot areas.- concept only
